Lemforder control arms and Lemforder wishbone - Control arms act as the link between the steering knuckle and the vehicle body in the case of independent wheel suspensions. Depending on their design, two-point and three-point, on rare occasions, four-point arms are available.
According to their function in the vehicle, they are subdivided into guiding control arms and supporting control arms. All versions are connected to the steering knuckle mainly via ball joints. Rubber bushings are used in the great majority of cases for the connection with the body, frame or subframe. In line with the particular application involved, Lemforder control arms are manufactured in welded steel or aluminum sheet or in cast iron or light alloy.
Acting in conjunction with the tie rod, control arm design has a decisive effect on vehicle handling.
Guiding control arms absorb braking force, motive force and radial force. Depending on the wheel suspension, car manufacturers fit them as upper or lower control arms on the front and rear axle.
In addition to absorbing braking force, motive force and radial force, supporting control arms also support the vehicle weight. They are used in the lower section of double wishbone axles and multilink axles which are increasingly found on German cars.

Lemforder track rod and Lemforder tie rod- Tie rods act as the link between the steering rack and the track rod end and transmit the driver's steering movements to the front wheels.
A Lemforder tie rod consists of an inner and outer ball joint. The inner joint (steering gear side) transmits axial forces and is called the inner, or axial ball joint. The outer joint (wheel side) is called the outer, angular or radial ball joint or track rod end.
The two ball joints are linked by means of an adjusting thread, which allows adjustment of the wheel tracking. Optimum tracking adjustment improves straight-line driving and reduces wear and tear on tyres

The Lemförder Sensor Module is an innovation that provides information to the assistance systems in the car directly from the interior of the ball joint.

Lemforder top mounts-These are fitted at the top of the shock absorber and have a two year warranty. Lemforder top mounts are superior to cheaper brands often made in China using poor quality bearings.

Lemforder anti roll bar link and Lemforder stabiliser link- Optimum stability on bends is a 'must' with modern vehicles. Stabilizers (or roll bar ) are therefore a help in balancing the load between inner and outer wheels on bends.
Their function is to transfer the load from the outer wheel (heavier load) to the inner wheel (lighter load) on bends, thereby improving vehicle stability.
The forces at work are transmitted by the stabilizer link to the actual stabilizer. Lemforder roll bar links have a two year warranty and give improved lifespan and safety over Ebay items and aftermarket items made in the Far East.
